But it has been steadily improved. It became better after stopping being new Mirai Nikki and after their task switches to pursuing Sena (which just happened) it will become better than when they were conquering the world.

They added Mari's glasses being stolen to give Hiiragi a reason to verbally guide her.
They added Gennai mind-controlling Sena to clearly display why he won in that verbal battle.
