Yomi was never really defeated per se. Gatlin failed the objective so they had to retreat. Amou's side effect made Yomi's role a lot harder but so far there's no hard counter to his soldier control tactics.
Reghi's commentary all but confirms that we'll see more of Galopoula soon, so maybe we'll see just how broken Yomi can get.

I don't really see why Hyuse would care about Chika's capabilities. The main issues are that he doesn't respect Osamu much (perhaps he's still not aware of the extent of Osamu's role in the invasion) and of course the fact that he's still very loyal to his home country.
In regards to Chika, I think the thing Hyuse is most likely to struggle with is how useful she'd be to Aftokrator as a god candidate. If he really wants to help his country then kidnapping Chika at an opportune moment could be a source of conflict.

Maybe, maybe not. Chika's lead bullet attacks are already more useful than Hatohara's weapon sniping. She can already stop a melee attacker in their tracks, when Hatohara could only briefly disarm them. Ranged attackers could still attack but be left immobile. Border might deem that sufficient.
Personally I think Chika will have to learn to attack people before the away missions, but the potential she won't is there.

The fact that Kinuta knows of its background like Osamu and yuma is something, but also that Border had a camera when the thing went down with Reghi : he didn't betray Yotaro, that's something.
