Because other than the incredible CG sequences, the show had nothing substantial in it. The zodiac theme is okay, but other than a few inside jokes about associated character traits and its only-kinda-understood nature even in Japan, there's nothing particularly interesting in there. It's set up just fine for waifu arguments but that's not going to carry it to success on its own.

SB69 aired in the same season with slightly better 3DCG, but it got some hate because the art style of Myuumon form is so far from what is typical of anime. (But should be expected coming from Sanrio.)
But yes it does deserve much more love. Yet another quality series all but forgotten after airing, just like Denki-gai and the like.

I get a feeling the mangaka got addicted to CoD when he was halfway through the chapter and decided to make the chapter about it instead.
I'd comment about the usage of arrow keys but I don't know much about how people play FPS.
Here I got stuck between using 'DESU' or 'DEATH'.And 'URIIIII' or 'WRYYYY'.
Maybe the mangaka liked the Uri-tan Death meme as well.
