TFS Frieza was hilarious. During Namek Saga Vegeta was my favorite, during Cell it was Trunks, because Toriyama absolutely changed Vegeta's character after he turned into a Super Saiyajin.

Tenshinhan had the better redemption/personal growth arc.
Piccolo just becomes good because lol kids, then he likes to act tough but his redemption comes pretty forced and rushed. Same with Vegeta.
Tenshinhan also had some of the most interesting techniques.Body clones, 4 arms, 3rd eye super sight,flying, the dodonpa which used to be more powerful than the kamehameha, learned the piccolo trapping technique, he even managed to pull some stunts on cell saga.
