I just don't understand how people are getting so anal about Ikoma hating ani-sama
There are things called bad impression, you know.
Even before Ikoma met the guy, he had a bad impression planted in him as he heard Mumei saying the 'weak do not deserve to live'.
He then figured out that this guy let a """12-years old""" go through Kabaneri surgery, which could be considered immoral.
Then he sees this Bishounen come out all flamboyantly from his train, and Ikoma who thinks those in power are stupid obviously thinks that is fishy.
Then he gets cucked right in front of him as Mumei switched ani-sama figure as soon as she saw the semen demon.
Then his Kabaneri senses find out that ani-sama is carrying a kabane cargo which is essentially a time bomb.
All this shit works up together to make Ikoma so angsty against Biba. He was not pissed off only because he just saw a Biba killing someone, he was already piled with bad impression to begin with.
If anything, killing the assassin was just a mental confirmation that this guy was up to no good.
