Guts' whole D&D party is pretty shit. Puck was good until he stopped being drawn and just became an acorn who comments on the absurdity of a situation.
Isidro is totally bland and offers nothing to the plot at all at the moment. Perfect Behelit fodder.
Farnese and Serpico were fine at first, and Farnese is a good vehicle for Guts to not have to worry about Casca. I have literally no idea why Serpico is always pissed at Guts and he's a pretty 1 dimensional character even though he's gotten some attention paid to his character.
My biggest issue is with the elves and the magic items the party has. The items along with Schierke's magic just makes any situation they find themselves in winnable just by flicking around salamanders or going astral. The series really started to go downhill right after Conviction.
Can't wait for my grandkids to someday read the Berserk ending.
