The acid test I use for character designs is whether you'd notice them in a crowd. If we hadn't seen any of the yonkou yet and they were at human height in a crowd of various pirates, I wouldn't even notice Big Mom. Someone like Kaido or Shanks though would be immediately noticeable and striking.

To be honest, we haven't seen how Totland is structured. I assume Whole Cake Island is in the middle, while the sorrounding areas are the 34 islands she rules over.
I really want to see BM's flashback and see what kind of fucking trauma she has in order to become what she's become and do what she does.
Especially as she's royalty turned pirate, that could be interesting if Oda knows how to make it original.
