Been watching the anime; I HOPE that keeps on going for a conciderable time. Being given OP qwirk is fine if the use is very limited and even damaging to the user; the point where he becomes as strong as All Might without the 3-hour restriction is where the series would just become OPM
Some comics manage to have powerless characters in superpowered teams (Teen Titans comes to mind, since Robin doesn't have the amount of Plot-Armor Batman has), but at most I could see Deku being a co-ordinator or strategist rather than a "gadget guy".

The point is that it's much harder to be a hero without a quirk than it is to be a hero with one. With Aizawa's quirk, he's a hard counter against criminals who need to activate their quirks. Especially since he works to make sure the situation is advantageous for him, with him being the one on the offensive. Drawn out fights with him on the defensive, like back during the first Villain Alliance invasion, are to his detriment and it was only his skill and expertise that got him through ALONG with his quirk making team play between the criminals difficult and confusing.
Aizawa is at his best when he's working as a disruptor.

Quirkless hero could be a guy piloting a suit or a giant robo. Pretty much Iron man/Juston/most giant robo protagonists.
Wouldn't fit MC, but it could work. Granted most machines are destroyed or Immobilised by the weakest of quirks. Or to do most of the crazy things like reaction time or seamless control from distances a quirk may be required.
