I almost wonder if it's even worth watching in a format other than the monthly release format. Episode 12 is pure catharsis and getting it after a year gave the series more impact. Togame's twisted, ambiguous speech, the boss rush, Emonzaemon, CHEERIO, the post-credits epilogue and ending narration. Fucking amazing climax. I can see a lot of the ways that the work is flawed under review, but it really is a great ride if you can get into the mindset to be swept away by it. I think it'd be able to hook a lot more people if the themes of the show had been established more clearly before the last few episodes.
Although, it wasn't until I rewatched it that I noticed Togame gives a portion of that speech in the snow loli episode.

I hated the last episode and wasn't a fan of the mac. Togame carried this show the entire time....because as soon as she was gone my interest drastically fell off.
Going back to the first episode, never in my life have a seen a jobbing done by so many people. It was embarrassing. Also the "i have enough power to kill one of you, so I will kill the Shogan" instead of walking towards the blonde cut and smashing her neck in with minimal force. Then after this idiot kills the shogan, the blonde doesn't kill him and spares his life. What then happens is they travel to gether.
Worst ending ever. Utter shit that made me infuriated.

Yeah I thought it was very well done. Good balance between colorful scenes, entertaining dialogue, and fights. Characters designs were cool, but I think the sister was too overpowered and her fight was dumb. What was your opinion?
