Kojirou might've been somewhat serviceable as a unit back on launch, but as the game evolved they modified the function of crit stars and quick cards. Nowadays crit teams are basically the strongest options, and Cursed Arm Hassan has a great star gen rate, 3 quick cards and a quick NP, and a skill that ramps his crit damage by 50%. Since with the right team you'll effortlessly be getting 50 crit stars a turn (and therefore 100% crit chance), that means it's a flat 50% damage up for him, something few heroes can claim.
Cursed Arm Hassan and Andersen are pretty much the only usable bronzes, and they're about as usable as 4* heroes in the right composition.

Mysteries have less power the more you examine them, explain them, or divide them up.
It works the same with sorcery. Sorcery is something only one person can do, if other people can do it then its no longer sorcery, and it gets degraded to just normal magic.
Edison's NP is something that destroys mystery exactly because it examines, explains, or records it.
The age of gods worked based on the foundation of the world being built on mystery, the age of humanity works with things being built based on science and understanding.
