Grapes and Sero could be some amazing heroes if they worked together properly, they both can restrain their enemies and one is mobile while the other has one of the strongest restraining quirks. If it was a reporter, they would have broken the doors down long before. A senior said he never saw the gates break down before so it's unlikely a reporter only just now decided to use their quirk, and even if you try to argue its a new one the reporters have been camping out there for two days so it likely wasn't one of them or they would've tried getting in earlier.

Just wanted to point out, in the flashback panel where Gran Torino is seen training All Might back in the day, his hairstyle looks like how it does when he isn't "transformed". This happens alongside Gran Torino praising Deku and saying he may be able to "transform." It's very possible that OfA does cause it's user to transform like All Might does, or at least that doing so is a side affect of so much power being built up over time from all the users.

In Operation: Rescue Kacchan, everyone in the group had a role.
That is, everyone but Momo.
Deku was the strategist and one of the carriers. Iida also carried and used his reciproburst to sent them flying. Kirishima was the motherfucking BATTERING RAM. Todoroki made the ramp to let them do that.
Momo just made the tracker.
We know Horikoshi likes to make everyone relevant where they're applied.
And Momo saved the day when she and Todo fought Aizawa, so it's not just Shonen Sexism.
