She was already crazy high power level by the end of the anime- its just hard to tell because every threat she faces is a complete joke and designed to train her, not defeat her.
Think about it. She has a sword that can cut through everyting, a shield that can block everything, super speed, super strength, time manipulation, the ability to erase anything she feels like, the ability to create anything she can imagine, dopplegangers, control over just about every element, ect.
Give sakura a real threat and an opportunity to grow and she will be unstoppable. The biggest thing holding her back in the original series was her lack of experience, knowledge, and the fact that because of her being a child meant the amount of magic she could use a day was very limited before she used up all her energy.

If there's a villain you can beat she'll get her ass kicked at some point. For all her absurdly powerful magic Sakura is very naive and way too forgiving. Two thing very exploitable by a cunning foe and CLAMP is chock full of those. Most famous CLAMP villains are able to destroy people with words alone.
So, if tjus story rrally have a baddie you can bet Sakura will hit low before regaining momentum and saving the day and returning a sincere smile to the villain's face.

Sakura couldn't become more powerful than someone like Kirby or Lord of Nightmares. And she shouldn't be. Part of what made CCS good was it didn't focus on Nanoha style laser beams and fights. Magic is a sub story to the slice of life/family stories. The minute they start to focus CCS on epic magic duels is the day CCS becomes a joke.

Not exactly. CCS Sakura and Syaoran have no direct connection without any of their Tsubasa counterparts.
TRC clones are cloned from TRC originals who were imprisioned during all if the first half of the story. Then Clone Syaoran goes evil and Clone Sakura "dies". But both come back near the end, its a mess.
CCS Sakura and Syaoran are real human beings and the only intervention they had was Sakura donating the Star Wand so Yuuko could help the clones.

I always thought that the implied ages of Tsubasa Sakura & Syaoran were that they were 6-7 years older than CCS Sakura & Syaoran at the start of CCS, i.e 16-17 vs. 10 years old for CCS Sakura & Syaoran. Conversely, this age up shtick also applied to Tsubasa Toya and Yukito, who their CCS versions were 16-17 at the start of CCS, thus making them to be in their early 20's in Tsubasa.
