Why does everyone hate the Jet Black Wedding arc of Medaka Box? I'm going through it now and it's fun as fuck.

A lot of the chapters became too wordy for anyone to go through on their off time and it didn't come out during summer for the most part so it became unwieldy for people with work.

Because it followed two of the best shounen arcs ever. And because people hate Medaka and it was 120% Medaka/Zenkichi pairing pushing (even though the entire manga is like that).
It was basically taking a giant dump on JUMP and all who read it and not in the fun way like Gintama does. There's biting the hand humor and there's spiteful humor and Niso just amped up the spitefulness 10 fold with that arc. It stopped being funny and just ended up being annoying. The -gatari series is a satire of harem and that seems to have a very devoted fanbase and popularity. Maybe he should of wrote Medaka Box like that instead of making it "Fuck battle shonens" The series.
Maybe its because I stopped reading for a bit then came back to it, but did anyone else completely lose the plot to this shit at some point? Towards the end shit just got confusing as fuck and nothing made any sense whatsoever.

You know, people hate Medaka for being a mary sue but Zenkichi probably trumps her. Literally everyone in the manga can't help but like him and the only ones who don't are jealous because he's close to Medaka.
