Did you like this movie?
>>
>>141983847
yeah, it was pretty great
>>
>>141983847
Definetle not my favourite Hosoda movie. but it had it's moments.
>>
It was cute.
>>
>>141983847
yes
>>
>>141983906
Then again, Summer Wars was even worse. Seeing his recent work, I was surprised how godlike Wolf Children turned out to be.
>>
>>141983847
No
>>
Is this the f zero anime?
>>
It was okay, but I didn't feel like it was anything special.

The same goes to Hotarubi no Mori e.
>>
I really hated it.
>>
>>141983847
Great film for me. Had nice themes.
>>
>>141983847
yes, very.
wolf children>tokikake>>>>summer wars
how's the new with the father themes by the way? still need to watch that.

Why does everyone hate Summer Wars? I liked it a lot.
>>
>>141985263
it felt very generic for some reason.
on the other hand, when i think back to it, i do remember some interesting bits. it's just that the CGI world parts were really uninteresting. maybe i should rewatch it sometime.
>>
>>141983847
Yes, I did.
>>
>>141985263
The "family is important and can do anything if they work together" stuff felt way too forced and made it hard to enjoy. For me at least.
>>
>>141985263
Digimon The Movie did it first I think that's why people are all up in arms about it
>>
>>141985263
It's a technical masterpiece and it really shows Hosoda's amazing eye for images.

But that's all there is to it.
>>
>>141983847
Had cute moments and a nice ending
>>
>>141983847
I loved this movie, one of my favorites
>>
How come I can't remember the plot or characters despite watching it years ago?
>>
Fucking love this movie.

Stories that involve time manipulation are a weakness of mine, in fairness.
>>
>>141984140
>wolf children
>godlike
some slut falls in love with warewolf chad and begs for the knot
the 30 minute mark into the first hour is pretty comfy
then it gets shit again with one of her kids going it isn't a phase mum i'm a real wolf and the other fucking off to live in the school dorm so she can be free to be a slut without her mum around
>>
I liked it but it will be another 5 years before I watch it again. It made me extremely sad.
>>
>>141983847
No. Honestly I found it infuriating.
>>
>>141984140
I liked The Boy and The Beast a lot in all honesty.
>>
I didn't get what the big deal was.

>YFW "You've been time-leaping, haven't you?"
>>
>>141989109
Couldnt have said it better myself
>>
>>141983847
second half was good
>>
>>141989109
I like the back to the country theme
>>
>>141987158
This. Being similar to something else is one of the first nitpicks people look for and this is a pretty blatant example of that.
>>
>>141983847
I loved it, but the first half was stronger than the second.

FUCK YOU
>>
>>141993283
Agreed. I really didn't like the sci-fi angle, and I thought the ending would have been better as a simple moral about not wishing for perfection all the time and just living your life instead of the tragic ending it turned into.
>>
>>141993283
Agreed
>>
Don't remember it that much anymore

But I liked it.
>>
>>141983847
It was pretty okay.
>>
>>141993283
This more or less. I feel like the guy's movies tend to be good in concept but then fall flat along the way.
>>
>>141983847
No.
>>
>>141991896
I don't. Too superficial.
>>
>>141983847
No because I haven't seen it yet.
>>
>>141983847
No
It was the typical time travel cliche movie we are so used to see, it wasn't bad executed or anything but it was just average in every sense except the visual quality
>>
>>141991896
eh it was ok. it could've been more but the antagonist wasn't interesting and the cgi whale doesn't save it either.
>>
>>141983847
Sadamoto's designs in movies gives a plus
>>
Yes because I'm a disgusting shipper-fag.
>>
>>141983847
I cannot remember it for the life of me
I know I watched it like 6 years ago when I was a causal getting dubs from netflix, but I can't seem to remember liking it or hating it

I guess it's time I go torrent it and rewatch
