P&S 2 because Nichijou 2 would just be an inferior adaptation of content I've already read.
I'd go with Nichijou since everyone that made Panty and Stocking good went on to Trigger anyway, and Gainax would most likely make it since they have the rights. Without people like Imaishi, a P&S S2 done now would only be underwhelming.

I kept watching that show purely because I was convinced that at some point they would reveal that she was a qt girl masquerading as a guy. I have never been that disappointed with a swimming episode when that dream was crushed. Especially because the rest of the show just plain sucks and has a naroto tier plot.

The plot is naruto tier, every episode is about bonding or "rectifying" some weakness in one of the characters, topped of with some sort of feel good speech at the end.
If she wore a female uniform it wouldn't be masquerading you thick idiot. The idea of masquerading would be that she wears a male uniform. A girl dressing and acting like a guy is the fucking definition of "a girl masquerading as a guy".

Show was barely worth watching before that point, became utter shit after Nagisa was confirmed a boy. They should have just kept it ambiguous to the very end, never revealing it one way or the other.

Panty and Stocking. I choose this because it was an anime that was actually even sort of creative.
Nichijou is part of my fond memory of the year 2011. I don't want to dig that up and shit all over it, as much as I enjoyed it. I don't think I would enjoy a second season of Nichijou as much as I did the first season.
P&S was alright, so I'd give that a second season.
