Fuma conspiracy was good, but it didn't have the original voice actors and they couldn't afford the music so they ended up using shitty music. The animation was top quality though. It could of been better.

I think you mean Jigen. He only played Zenigata ONCE in the Fujiko series (and a cameo in Jigen's Gravestone). He will be reprising his role as JIGEN in the upcoming dub of the Blue Jacket series. My only problem with the manga and I don't know if this is an accurate translation, but they kind of make Lupin British with certain things he says. There are times where he'll say "bloody hell", "mate", and "old boy" which I don't particularly like. It may be in the original Japanese and I could be wrong, but it just seems off.
Also I sometimes don't know what the hell is going on in a panel and it takes me a minute or so to figure out what happened as I keep reading. That could be just because I'm not use to reading manga or comics in general. Just takes me awhile to figure out what goes on.
They are good and funny stories. I think my favorite chapters so far are Lupin in jail and flowers for fujiko.
I'm so glad with how blue jacket turned out. I wasn't a fan of the fujiko mine show by and large, so it was nice to have the crew back to form

I really enjoyed the Fujiko series because of the art and the episodes that weren't focused on the main plot. Some of the episodes like the Jigen 2-parter and the Phantom of the Opera are great episode. I'm just happy it exists. I'd take more Lupin over less Lupin. I also like how it makes it very obvious it takes place before series 1. There are some really cool deep cuts in it.. Oh and the music is wonderful.
The new series is more traditional and it's more like the Lupin we all know and and love. Lots of great episodes and some really great animation. I can't wait for the North American Blu Ray release. Kind of wish they'd update us.

The more I look at the bootleg, the more I like the yellow, but it still looks too much like something I'd see on a jungle book cover. Plus the green represents the character and movie better than black. Even though the cover itself is cool, it's very misleading. Comes across as being a romance which it really isn't. Though the simplicity of it is nice. Still think the slip cover from discotek is still the best.
