In the first place, it's stupid to think they would announce an animated sequel now when Nowayu is just around the halfway point.
Assuming they're planning to time the anime's climax with the novel's, if Nowayu has 2 volumes we'll have to wait at least another half a year, and on the off chance it has 3 volumes, another 1 and haft year to go.

God there are so many things they could do with this.
They could play it straight up, perhaps after Wakaba finds her belongings like her weapon or diary.
Or they could get real darkand find a traumatized Shiratori living like an animal underground in the sewers and storm drains. So haunted by her inability to save anyone but herself that she has become dissociative and non verbal and crawls on all fours and even attacks the Yuusha that follow her until she recognizes Wakaba's voice.
She would be as afraid of being identified as a failure for not dying with the people she tried to protect as she is of the Stardust finding and eating her.

So, what do we think the drama CD will be like? Actual Drama or SOL stuff? My moneys on the latter based on the YuYuYu side material, and NoWaYu has a comparitive lack of SOL scenes anyway (only comparitively) so it'd make sense for them to stick it in the side material. Or maybe there'll be a mix so we get to hear what they sound like in all sorts of emotional states.
