Yes, one of his labours was to obtain Hippolyta's girdle. Now there are multiple versions of this legend, but the one I remember best is Hippolyta being really fucking impressed with Herc so she gave him the girdle without him needing to do anything special. Of course Hera got pissed at that, pretended to be an amazon and rused the other amazon women that Herc is kidnapping Hippolyta. When they attacked Herc he slaughtered them all.

Its noted in his Twelve Glories NP that he only got all his shit from life in exchange for losing his divinity and renouncing everything, as the nature of his NP warped. Originally he was supposed to have Godhand as his NP in this form yet again. In exchange for losing divinity he traded his NP for another one, and traded divinity skill for Avenger skill.
So as a proper Archer Heracles he'd have Godhand, Nine Lives, and maybe a mysterious EX rank NP we haven't seen yet, but he wouldn't have Twelve Glories.

This is also a misconception of a sort, because people really want to shit on Gil at the moment. Heracles as a proper Archer would lose most likely, but since he was warped to no longer have divinity, he can't be countered in the same way.
If Gil knew who he was he would have an advantage, but due to True Archer's towel barrier that protects his identity, Gil cannot figure out who he is so he's just shooting weapons blindly.
Heracles also isn't stronger than all weapons ever, rather Gil is too hot-headed to notice that Hearcles blocked all of Gil's shots with the Nemian Lion Pelt which conceptually cannot be outwardly damaged.
Heracles is winning at the moment, not due to all around superiority, but because he's controlling the flow of battle and leading on his opponent. If Gil used Sha Naqba Imuru then the situation might turn around, but Gil is far too arrogant to do it, especially with TA telling him that he's weak and only his greatest treasures might match him. Telling Gil only bringing out his strongest might work, is the best way to get him to never take it out, since if he did it now he would be humiliated.

They just summoned seven servants to prep the leylines, in order to summon the real servants. But now they're all mixed up and fucked up.
The plan was probably to have the true servants team up to kill the fake ones by having the true ones summoned under the same banner at first, and then fight it out, but almost instantly the true servants also had no willingness to follow rules or alignments.
Fake doesn't mean "fake", it just means they weren't the real servants for the war, even though they thought they were when they were summoned. Its like how Sasaki was "fake assasin".
So now the fake and true servants are all mixed up, with Saber being the common link that's supposed to unite them. Saber is considered both true and fake, so he is in the middle a bit.
