We've got a dam.
It's actually about one third of a dam, because in 1914 some hotshots thought our laconic prairie river could produce enough hydroelectric to power the entire province.
The project hit hurdle after hurdle and had to be more or less restarted three times, until it bankrupted the city. We were in debt for a hundred years, and what we've gt left is a few meters of concrete jutting out into a river. Most people don't even know about it, but nothing affected our town more than that.
We're just a small city with nothing of importance, but maybe it would make a nice picnic. Poor Hermes couldn't climb the dam with us, though.

I don't fucking know this town myself, I moved in here to study last autumn and I just hole up in my apartment on my free time. It's not a big place anyhow. I could show the town centre, the various other quarters of town, small as they are, and then maybe some of the sights of the sea at the shore or the bridges, but you could do that in one day.
Really, the most interesting qualities about this place to me are that it's slightly bigger than my old hometown, and it's on the seashore and there's seagulls everywhere which I enjoy.
I guess I could try and show off my apartment, I'm pretty proud of how nice it looks.
