What you're seeing isn't "real". It's a series of examples given to explain background info about Geminar, like how when a pilot gets pregnant, they're pampered if tests say they've got a boy, but they're left to their own if it's a girl, and how the male Seikishi that are treated as stud horses tend to settle down with the temple worker assigned to them as a fluffer, since they actually know his personality and likes and dislikes.
In universe, Chiaya's mom is long dead.

The novels focused on Tenchi, I know little about.
The GXP novels are pretty much a retelling of the anime, but more how Kajishima wanted it than how Nabeshin made it.
Much more world building, more girls, more focus on the Seto Scouts, Tenchi's Aunt is a suitor for Seina, there's recently a Wau girl, details about Seto having a split personality, her and Mihoshi's grandma are sweet on him, the visit to Tenchi's house lasts longer, just all sorts of shit.
But they're not translated, so I only have snippets of info.

But I forgot to mention the doijinshi.
Kajishima doesn't entirely own the Tenchi franchise, so he has to make unofficial books about something he helped create.
He releases them at Comiket, and whatever's in them usually gets worked into the next anime somehow.
Two or three are translated, about Reia's backstory, and Kenshi's training before he was sent to Geminar.
There's a few more that have no dialogue, like the recent IF books that are centered on Tenchi and Seina's kids.
But there's about 20 years worth of material, little of it is scanned, and less translated.

OVA 4 coming this fall isn't reaching that far, and starts with Noboyuki and Reia's wedding.
If you haven't watched anything since Toonami, watch GXP, it's alright, OVA 3 is sub par, but I enjoyed it. Isekai no Seikishi Monogatari is the reason I have hope for OVA 4.

The only thing we know is that daughters of various pirate guilds ended up on an island resort. I suspect it would be used to flesh out how piracy actually works in the Tenchi world, because it is rather murky.

You missed the loophole; the rules don't apply when the male pilot is himself a king. Royal status trumps all other rules in Isekai. Kenshi is very likely to have his own little kingdom one day, there is no way around it. Anything less does not fit his status as a literal saviour sent by the gods themselves.

Yes. They are mortals. I am trying to keep it fair and not trying to hold their ordinary humanity against them. The Tenchi household are basically gods, even outside the three big ones or Tenchi himself. Any Juraian with a Royal Tree would be classified as a god for most cultures. Compare to that the Isekai cast are just human women. But human women have their charm points too.

Then DEFINITELY Aura and Yukine. These two have the most natural emotional development with Kenshi. It also helps that they both thought he was just a poor low class servant, and yet they were genuinely interested in him despite their own high class positions.
Aura's development was the best one That scene in the forest when she caught Kenshi "poaching" was fantastic, both developing her personality and showed how she could see Kenshi as a great person. It really makes both sides look good, with a princess making the decision that this young man was the right person for her to dedicated herself to. And you could believe it.

Both Seina and Kenshi earned their harem. That's what makes the Tenchi franchise unusual. The women flock to the MC because the MC go beyond the call of duty for each and every one of them. Seina was handing Ryoko Balta the present he bought for her, even AFTER she pointed a loaded gun at his head and revealed she was there to kill him. And Kenshi was literally a divine saviour.
