Sadly, Hollow was just more content period than KT even taking out the minigames, because the characters were actually friendly with each other and enhance their story together. Whereas Tsukihime has such a cast that is more self contained, the girls are mostly to themselves and antagonistic with each other while the Fate girls are people you can see stand each other for more than five minutes without comedically strangling each other while Shiki sweats in the background.
It's why you hardly ever see any KT doujins, but Hollow ones come out by the barrel. It makes for the more interesting setting.
Needing to get past so many repeated events and dialogs just to unlock flags and new scenes just feels like terrible pacing in KT

Although it was tedious to keep skipping scenes that was the magic of KT. A one day route of many piling up choices that wind up with unexpected encounters and events. Repetition is a big part of this game so finally seeing something new as you drowsily skip is exciting and seeing the cat all over place adds to the progression.
The way you have to plan out the route to unlock things adds to the mystique of the environment Shiki is in. I unlocked the cultural festival AFTER I beat the game because getting all the scenes to unlock the option requires a whole day's worth of specific option choices. Even now I'm convinced there is some scene I have missed because the routes to get special scenes can only be gotten by a narrow set of decisions.

Caster was acidic at times, but to a believable degree, and it showed a more mature side to her. Shirou acknowledged what she did and calls her on it, and she pretty much says "I have no need to do that anymore, but I would be that witch again if I had to." So it makes a believable change.
That, and in Hollow, you got a feeling of the characters progressing, something I don't really think you would get with Tsukihime. Sakura and Rin are working toward their future, and build upon their sibling relationship, yet I hardly saw the same with Kohaku and Hisui. Akiha did have some good stuff, thankfully, her and Ciel being my favorites.
Outside of a few good select scenes in KT it was like the typical fandisc, which let's be honest, had guest scenarios just like Hollow.
You could make more comedic things with the antagonists, but you have to wonder if you could have as many interesting talks without things falling apart. There was a reason they had Zouken defanged by Sakura, Gil being satisfied being a child, and Kirei staying dead. All the other antagonists were somewhat reasonable. Beyond a couple of self contained scenes in their own little bubble like you mentioned, it still pales in comparison with Hollow's potential for both comedy and intrigue.
The jist of my argument is that Fate has more believable interactive potential. Nearly every character can interact with any other character and have a sensible conversation.
