The problem with that is Chika. If they get into position to take some shots at Osamu, it means that they're exposed to Chika's sniper fire.
Basically both Katori's and Kakizaki's units fucked up royally by not splitting someone off to take out Chika when they encountered resistance in trying to reach her. That's left them fighting Osamu and Yuma, while Chika has a line of fire to support them. Forcing them to either constantly be moving, or constantly be in cover, to avoid being hit by Chika.

It's not so unrealistic. Even in real life soldiers tend to be grouped into 3-4 member fireteams, which are then grouped into 8 to 12 member squads. Small teams where everyone fulfils a different role are more practical for modern urban warfare and you can group them together if you need numbers. There's also the fact that having a small number of people in combat simplifies things for the mangaka.
The bizarre aspect is that the teams are able to choose their own make-ups. In real life they don't let every soldier equip themselves exclusively in grenade launchers and the grenade launcher accessories.

If Chika thinks to do that then she's pretty unstoppable. The problem with Chika is that there's a whole bunch of What If tactics where she's totally broken, but in the present day she lacks the experience and the resolve to implement them effectively.

Raygust is heavy and slow. Even Thruster seems to have a lead up time. If you're able to block the first attack you'll be able to retaliate before Osamu can pull off another. Use anchor mode, or use two shields for full guard, then retaliate after he's used his attacks. Basically, keep a cool head, guard, then attack when he's open.
Kazama and Wakamura both tried to fight back and ended up getting killed for it. Inukai just kept up his shield and avoided all damage.

Regardless of fighting, if it looks like Yuma is about to run out of trion, then Osamu should shoot Yuma up. The killing blow goes to Osamu (but doesn't add a ranking point) and not Sasamori. If Yuma runs out of trion while Teruya is hiding, then Sasamori gets the credit and gets a ranking point for his team. But denying a point in that way would be like Ninomiya's ruthless style.

Since Katori doesn't move well, they should quickly chop her gun up so she doesn't use it, then run off to kill Teruya before she gets Chika. That would give max bitterness to Katori as being ignored now as an opponent.
But as points go, they should finish off Katori for the one point, then have Chika switch to bagworm to evade Teruya as Chika moves toward Osamu and Yuma. Chika then grabs onto Yuma for the rest of the match and transfers trion into Yuma so that he never runs out. She transferred trion to Osamu before.

It does fit the sounds. I'm not entirely sure it fits the theme. Everyone else's names translate as something to do with their personality or their function, but his is just "pig". He's repeatedly called a dog and his trigger is called "fireflies" or "shield of butterflies" but he's actually called "pig"?
It also doesn't fit T2's theme. Everyone in T2 has some connection to the sky: The first kanji in "Kuga" (空) means "sky", the first kanji in "Amatori" (雨) means "rain" and the second kanji in Mikumo (雲) means "cloud". I guess Shiori doesn't fit this theme either.

Anime was great in the aspect of adding "fillerish" scenes with Yuiga, Izumi and Arashiyama team during that match.
You could see that they were seriously rooting for Osamu.
And now we saw how fucking hyped Izumi is seeing Spider God in action. I bet Yuiga jumped on bed/sofa from excitement when Osamu got double kill.
But IMHO he should bro it up with Ko and Nasu. They could get along nicely and training/competitive scenes could be used to flesh out new tactics/powers Osamu uses. Like the double sided shooting with Raygust attack. That's seriously good move as you have to be really good/have fuckton of trion to block it.
Then Ko would give Osamu some Raygust training, Nasu some much needed IMO Viper/advanced shooter training and then go to Yuiga to complete his "quest" and start composite bullet training.

Shooter. Lamprys is so goddamn versatile that a gun trigger would be a massive step down for Hyuse.
The main reason people use gun triggers is that they're easier to control than cube trigger. You can attack accurately and reliably at reasonably long range, without having to worry about floating your cubes into the right positions before you attack. Hyuse is already used to controlling thousands of floating trion shards. His fighting style is all about shaping and positioning these shards to best exploit the current situation, so he's already the perfect shooter.
I suspect he'll be a Viper specialist with the same reprogramming ability as Izumi and Nasu. He might add in Lead Bullet to recreate the disabling abilities of Lamprys.
