Everyone in his entire life just praised him constantly not really caring about him as a person. They were awe struck by his abilities and thus put him as a pedestal. Take when he fell in the water, no one helped him but deku. At that moment he knew these "friends' of his weren't really his friends but just people under him who are amazed by him. Yet quirkless deku helped him and was actually concerned about his well being. The guy with no quirk that gets laughed at is helping me? Bakugao snapped because he was never treated like that by anyone and also because of his superiority complex. Bakugao also knows that without his ability all the people in his life would disappear and so that is why he is angry. Guy has to be on edge because if he stops being amazing then he will be worse than Deku, who now is just as amazing if not better than him.
I think Bakugao wants 2 things. An actual friend who give a shit about him and people he can come to when he is feeling shit and not judge him. Deku might just be that person and he is disgusted by that fact.
