It's got a lot of interesting ideas, touching moments, and decent characters - but the execution of most of it leaves a lot to be desired, particularly in relation to stuff like Kiara, Melt Lilith, Karna, etc.
Though the prose is still probably the best Nasu has managed, funnily enough. It's not even THAT good, I just think most of his early stuff is very amateurish in that respect.

Could've just done with a more coherent explanation for how she surpassed the planet, that's all. I would've found it easier to buy if she'd somehow picked up the Third Magic rather than rely on a Servant's NP before hacking the Moon Cell.
And I'd say the best Nasu's done is either this or Kara no Kyoukai. The latter has the advantage of actually fucking ending instead of being dragged out into alternate continuities forever like Fate.
