Purple Haze Feedback was a LN written as part of VS JOJO for the 25th anniversary of the series. It's the only one that was actually good, and the only one Araki likes. Probably because he and the guy who wrote it brainstormed the plot together before he wrote it. It's pretty good, and the ending Part 5 deserved. Araki has outright said that it's the ending he always wanted to give Fugo but couldn't. Would definitely recommend it.

I'd say Kyo seems more like team material than Daiya. Since Araki said this part focuses mostly on the Higashikatas I'd imagine that's it for allies, though, unless either rockmen aren't the main villains or we'll see one of them betraing his (or her) peers for some reason.

I had a weird dream about JJL where Hato was the main villain and Damo lived on New Guinea with his Rock Human family before the Japanese massacred them in WW2 and he was the only survivor. At that point he hated them so much but knew he'd never be able to get revenge so he settled for living amongst them as parasites, and he gathered all the survivors and managed to get them smuggled safely on board shipping containers to Japan. He wants peace only because he knows that he can't kill every single human. And Hato had King Crimson as her Stand except it was bubblegum pink and blue.

That's actually somewhat likely, especially since we don't know his real age and rockmen can live for over 200 years. I like the theory that Karera's ancestor might've been among the people who destroyed the rokakaka and presumably killed some of the rockmen, too.

During part 4 Araki comments that he wanted to tone it down while his editors wanted stands to get more powerful than in part 3. Yet in part 5 the stands are all much more powerful than the 4/3 stands and part 6 gives us the universe ender.

He wanted everyone to know their own fate to get rid of despair. People would be despaired at first after realising their fate and that they can't do anything to change it, but after a while they would accept it and be able to live the time they have in peace with those that they love. DIO brainstormed this during his 100 year nap since he had nothing else to do during that time and thought it'd be pretty wicked to eradicate despair from the human conscience and Pucci agreed, mostly because it allowed him to shift the blame for his sister's death off himself and just say it was fate's fault.
