I just finished watching the Frontier movies and i have to say i like it better than the tv series.
It focus on the triangle, concerts and action was more to my liking compared to the boring side characters and politics shit in the tv show

I totally agree. I still hear people say that the TV series is better but honestly, writing and plotting wise the TV series is a mess. While Luca and Nanase got the short end of the stick, they were not that important to the overall story. I liked them strengthening the whole Grace and Sheryl thing to make them more well, important in the grand scheme of things. And Grace wasn't JUST completely evil. And the fact they didn't have Ranka selfishly kill off Mikhail was a blessing.
I just think the movies took all the good parts of the series and made them better and just made Frontier a less frustrating experience. Cause goddamn, there are parts from the TV version that are so annoying to watch.

I have been in a lot of Macross threads and nobody really ever talks about Zero's plot because it's so weird even for a 5 episode OVA. Seriously, when was the last time you discussed the actual nuances of Zero's concept of militarization vs. island culture? Fucking never. I feel the most people talk about Zero is when it's brought up during discussion of Frontier's tribute of Zero.

Wow! Everyone's reaction at the end. Not bad, they just need to get a good voice trainer for JUNNA. She has the hardest notes of all the girls, and singing those high notes constantly live is going to be very rough.
What amases about JUNNA's voice is her ability to drastically switch and match Minori. I was suprised that she was the one singing those few words at the start of Ichido Dake no Koi Nara. Minori is also able to sing high notes that match JUNNA too. Perfect combo!
Have there been any references to Hikaru or Misa in Frontier or Delta? Max, Milia and Minmay get a ton but no love for the rest of SDF's cast
