Is Kuromukuro AOTS or AOTS?
It's fucking great so far.
The choreography for the fight scenes is 10/10. If only the mechs didn't look so bland.
Otherwise the characters are great, the pacing is good, overall the art(outside the mecha) isn't amazing, but it's not bad looking at all.
So far it's my AOTS.

Also the GAUS are carrying this for me. The Samurai Robot is good but it just doesn't have the appeal of the GAUS combat style with their mix of modern CQC and firearms. If only they didn't look so bad, they would be the best Mechas ever.

You need this sort of contrast so both parts make an impact. If all you have is mech battles, those become bland and boring. If all you have is SOL, it becomes mundane. If you mix both properly, which this show is doing, you get something great.
