How do you think it'll end? Will Revy or any of the core characters die?

Japanese wouldn't use the verb 止まる to mean "end" as in "end a series." They would use 終わる. So the stop in this context is referring to a temporary stop.
But more importantly, the second sentence, "ブラクラ自体は11集分のネーム全部上がってるのやで" in no way means "De serie zal eindigen bij een bundel 11 titels." I assume your friend thought 上がる in this context meant finish and then didn't know what "ネーム" meant, so he guessed that it was referring to the series Black Lagoon. However, the verb 上がる is specifically referring to the noun ”ネーム" which means storyboard.

Doubt BL will ever end, I mean he doesn't have a reason to end it, the fans are used to hiatuses, so he can resume/stop it whenever he wants, and the story is the type which can go on forever i.e. the characters don't have any particular end goal, it's just a group of pirate buddies taking on different jobs and getting in all sorts of trouble while doing them.
I mean all arcs don't have any connections between them except the two Roberta arcs, and even there she has totally two different reason for visiting Roanapur, which are in no connection with each other.

The story is built so that pauses and hiatuses are easy to work around.
Hell, he could end it with a "And the adventure continues..."-style ending, then get back to it 5+ years after that and it would still work.

I bet we'll get the Feng arc animated as a way to tide fans over while Rei finishes up other projects before working on volume 12.
