I ripped the Border Briefing File digital edition thanks to the help of an anon and the script they told me about. It has been uploaded in its entirety along with some instructions on how to buy BBF yourself.
Volume 10 is ripped and uploaded. No more bad scans. I ripped it last week but reuploaded it today because there was a minor error in the before-chapter pages (cast pages, specifically).
Translations of BBF have been updated again. Chippokenabokura is now using the digital rips I sent her. Graph section is complete. She's doing the 303 Q&As section next, although she's starting from the start.

What Osamu needs to do now is score a point more or less by himself. Killing Katori squad wouldn't really be by himself given the amount of damage they've taken between Yuma and Chika, but it'd be sufficiently memorable that people would stop saying he hasn't scored points.

The Rank Wars aren't just some typical "tournament arc". The way they work, by constantly adding in new things, keeps things fresh whether or not they're in this ranked battles context.
If you really think the manga would die from this, I don't know what to tell you except you're wrong.
If this was BAD, that would be one thing, but just "monotony" as you call it isn't going to drive this series into the ground. Even though things WEREN'T getting old (the four way battle was probably the best in the series) Ashihara still changed things up to keep things radically different with the mini invasion, which is still a thread at this point so it STILL won't get monotonous.
What usually kills a series that's gone on for a while is a really garbage arc or two and a sharp change in direction. It's noticeable by the rankings plummeting and the sales nosediving. Shokugeki no Souma is kind of hovering at that point right now, but WT sure isn't and I'd be real surprised if it did, even with more rank wars (it seems silly to say "even with", since the rank wars are really entertaining)

Apparently it depends on your trion level. The more trion you have, the more trion you invest into your trion body so the longer it takes to recreate. Chika takes several days, while Osamu regenerates in a couple of hours.
Galo has no-one on Chika's level, so they should all be able to make a new body quite comfortably in the time they have left.

She's not exactly my favorite character either, but it was legit advice.
His goal of getting to A-rank is a lofty one, and if he wants his team to speedrun their way to that point then he needs to use what he excels at to get there. He has tactical and manipulative prowess, not combat skill, so that's what he needs to be polishing at the moment.
That said, he shouldn't completely ignore Izumi's advice since he'll need to step up if his teammates go down. But point scoring should be a last resort measure, not a personal priority.

You completely missed the point of what she said. People who are naturally good at attacking and have decent trion should definitely concentrate on point scoring strategies. After the initial 3 matches, sure that was the question that arose. But the way that it's answered isn't to necessary to improve Osamu's point getting skills. He can circumvent that by recruiting Hyuse. The best course of action for the present situation would be to make Kuga's job as easy as possible.
Right now, all he can do is support his teammates better so they can be more effective in a match. Before the match he basically told Kuga to do everything. The strings actually allowed Kuga the opportunity to occupy and take out an entire team alone, something he couldn't do before. I just don't see how you can see something wrong with that.
And on Azuma, with the amount of research he does he should've known his skill set. He got distracted and didn't protect himself when going for the point. Inexperience showed same as against Nasu, but this time it was worse because it was at the start of the match when it matter, rather than when T-2 had already won.

Osamu does not have the time nor the capabilities at this point to challenge any skilled B or even low ranking A-rank opponents. Longterm he SHOULD work on his offense but as of now his goal is to get on the away mission which requires him to re-prioritize getting his team to A-rank as soon as possible.
Putting all of his effort into improving his offense is well and good but if it doesn't produce results in the meanwhile it may as well be wasted effort as far as his goal is concerned. He needs to be useful now, not useful a year or two from now.
So what he can do now to make himself useful basically boils down to ensuring that he doesn't get taking out immediately (the longer he stays in, the longer he can support Kuga and Chika) and the ability to facilitate point-getting in the form of aiding Kuga.
He's accomplishing these things basically by doubling down with the Raygust (a defensive and tactical tool), Asteroid (helps him flank with Kuga and gives the team much needed midrange offense), and Spider (traps, footholds for Kuga, intimidation). It's a pretty good loadout and as we can see in this chapter, is helping to push their team comp up from what it was previously. He's a force multiplier rather than a straight up additive factor and that's a-okay right now.

Besides he needs to learn Viper if he wants to fight efficiently. He can't spam bullets until enemy shield breaks. He needs keikaku trajectory/ leave bullets in places on standby to hit them in their blind spot. Because even weakest bullet can damage trion body it's his only way of winning as shooter.

It's pretty common in B-rank, it's just that T2 tends to get compared to A-rank. Every A-rank squad we've seen has had every member able to stand up for themselves if they need to, which is particularly useful considering that they don't fight as squads in defence missions. Current T2 would be absolutely useless in a real battle, Yuma would use his Black Trigger and run off leaving Chika and Osamu to support members of other teams.

It's great anti-infantry tool. And main force of the invasions are "humans". Even if you are the ones invading you can expect some kind of denser city where you could utilise spider. For example look at the young Yuuma chapters or when Moedorad explains situation in Afto.

Galo's new portal bail out makes that pretty much impossible. Border can try to block all portals with it's screen, but they can't block everything forever. all it takes is one of those little portal shards that Galo uses so much and they're out of there. Neighbours are much better at using portals than Meeden.
I also wonder if Meeden even wants to capture any neighbour soldiers. It's not like they want to attract any more attention to themselves or motivate any rescue missions.
