Kiznaiver isn't a good anything. It's not a good action series because its action is often poorly contrived and nonsensical. It's not a good character-based drama thanks to the story focusing on a strong contender for most boring and unlikeable MC in anime history, and also because there's a jarring forcing of a status quo which prevents any character development. It's not a good romance series because the MC displays nothing resembling emotion of a sex-drive.
What even is the appeal of it, save for having a couple of vaguely fun side characters and extremely rare moments of Trigger being Trigger.
