>betrays and kills one of his own men
>the other men still continue to work for the villain as well as being super loyal
Will Oda EVER manage to explain this?

They people he gathered in his original crew are all believers in "fate" if BB betrays them, then "fate" willed it. Also, even if BB is a coward fuck, he has a crazy amount of charisma which I bet means that he has CoC, which makes people want to follow you.

>betrays and kills one of his own men
Nah. He probably killed someone in a different sub-crew of whitebeards man, not affiliated with his men.

I'd be surprised if Blackbeard doesn't hsc CoC desu.
Bit even if fate willed it, his crew seems like the type to just ignore that and preserve their life first and foremost.

>sub-crew
No. He killed Thatch who he probably interacted with daily. If it was an allied ship you'd be correct but for WB's crew it's much more complicated since they're a 'family'.

Would be even more awesome if he doesn't have CoC.

It wouldnt make sense gory wise be use literally every person that's appeared so far that's "charismatic" (chinjao/doffy) has had CoC.
>>141240604
being the opposite of luffy, it's likely he's going to face his death cowardly and without his crew by his side
>>141241591
>any top player not having CoC
pretty much impossible at this point
>>141240604
who did he kill again?
>>141240604
He killed Thatch to obtain the Darkness Fruit and to further his plans which he came up with decades ago, this crew probably knows this and don't fear him killing them because it wouldn't help him further his goal.
Also, like a lot of bad guys in a lot of fiction, his men probably follow him because they believe in his power and revere him and respect him, and are willing to risk their lives for him if need be.

Thatch.
he killed his boss/superior, not an underling. he also did it to steal a fruit and up his power, not just on a whim. his ambition and power appeal to his crew who are in it to make him pirate king so they can share in the glory
how is this hard to understand?
