Just finished watching this, how did /a/ like the show?
In my opinion Kurumi, Miki and Rii were the only redeeming aspects about this show. Yuki was an annoying shit who dragged the whole thing down. The anime was a half assed attempted balance between CGDCT and thriller/horror and failed at both.
I mean it was an interesting concept, but they executed it really bad. And please tell me the anime ending was original, because I'm actually kinda annoyed about how retarded that announcement shit was.

The most major difference is that Taroumaru was only a 2-3 page flashback ending with "he ded yo". All of the shit he did in the anime was horseshit they put in because having a cute animal mascot character is extremely important for some reason.
Also, the ending with the announcement making the zombies go home (Something I really didn't want to remember) isn't in the manga, it's a whole different sequence that I won't spoil for you.

Thanks. Sounds good, the dog was quite annoying so I'm glad that he's not that big of a deal in the manga. Also I'm relieved to hear that they just screwed up the ending in the anime, looking forward to read the manga.

Putting aside the terrible art, QUALITY, and how they butchered the source material, the first reveal was done very nicely, the OP was fantastic, and the voice acting was on-point.
The main thing is that as a series it managed to capture the essence of its themes incredibly well. There's a very unexpected depth to the characters in that the contrast between Yuki and Miki is representative of the idealist and the cynic, except to a fault. Yuki is so idealistic that her interpretation of reality winds up being dangerous at times, while Miki's harsh reliance on an unbiased interpretation of events pushes her own character into a state of cold despair. Whether someone likes Yuki or Miki more will tell you a lot about the kind of person they are.
I could go on about other things, but that's enough to give you an idea of the sort of thematic depth at play in 28 moes later.
