did you read the manga the first time through? I know a lot of kids watched the anime to whatever point it was up to date at the time, switched to equivlanet in the manga, and never acutally bothered with most of first arc or two. If that was the case go with manga.

pretty certain it's the other way around. it's not like the ichiruki shippers ever even make real arguments, delusional or not, it's mostly just inflamatory statements clearly directed at orihime fans alone, or image dumps with no actual discussion. The anime was the first japanese language thing I ever bothered watching (Was looking for vidya in brother's room, found a Bleach DvD) and I watched it up until roughly halfway through the Bount saga. I then bought a bunch of the early manga and read the rest online (Onemanga, I think. Fuck it's been years) so I have read the whole thing.
I've just been bitten by the nostalgia bug so I want to get back into Bleach
