I never understood the title oft this series. I'm no Japanese expert by any means, but I've picked some up from watching anime over the years.
I know musou means warrior, hime means princess and koi are a type of fish. So the series means fish-princess warriors. But only a few girls are princesses and none of them are fish. How does this make sense?

They should just remake the eroge but without the male protag. More focused on what actually happened in history but with yuri. Also no best girls dying.

Speaking of the VN I thought they were going to make a proper reboot of Shin Kohime. It looks like they're gonna re-release last years 3 sets as one package with some new stuff.

The VN(its translated) does a much better job with the characterization. Anime is good for the silly hijinks though, I don't think I would have enjoyed a more faithful s1/s2 and s3 was just awful.

If you just look at the anime as CGDCT with Chinese names it isn't so bad. Being exactly like the real 3 kingdoms would be hard with all the dying and stuff. Maybe if they tried going full Madoka with it or something.
