Speaking of this, while I'm somewhat glad the jealously thing hasn't really happened in the main party, I wonder why nobody really questions them on why Kazuma and Aqua always stick together.
Like they always ask questions on Kazuma's origins, and where he came from, but they never do with Aqua. I get that they probably think she's nuts since she claims to be a Goddess, but I still find it weird why they never ask how the two first met or why they were adventuring with each other in the first place.

This is a detail I feel like a lot of people miss, since all they concentrate on is Aqua's incompetence (which is also similar to Kazuma too).
Which I feel like will happen with volume 8 too. Since, aside from being a massive Eris ship tease volume, shows that Kazuma thinks about and worries for Aqua a lot more than he lets on. Surprisingly, his interactions with the "main heroine" are more subtle than the overt ones like Megumin and Darkness; which actually makes me appreciate their relationship a lot more.
I wonder if it is actually building up to something in volume 9.

Yeah I agree with you on Darkness' case. She's so 'normal' in that volume it was surprising. Poor Lalatina did everything to restrain the rest of Kazuma's party, she also helped a lot in Kazuma-Chris case. It shows when the stake is higher she can be very straight and serious. It seemed like she endured her maso urges a lot while in the capital.
Anyway I still enjoyed Megumin antics the most. Her and Iris fighting over Kazuma, becoming Kazuma's "fan" and finallyIris started calling her Megumin-nee, hngggg I think I almost got a heart attack. So fucking cute.

Despite not shipping them, I have to admit this scene was pretty damn sweet in a way. Funny how he mentions they aren't similar at all, while at the same time proving that they really are.
Though the scene with Katsuragi was somewhat depressing. Poor guy knows he doesn't stand a chance with best girl because Kazuma exists.
