I didn't find the movie emotionally moving as I did mean spirited. The MC is bland and has an obsession bordering on a complex over a 12 year old girl to a point where he can't have an actual relationship with those that want him? Fucking christ. And it takes him how long to get over that girl? 12 years? That's utterly pathetic.
It's not that I'm edgy or anything.
It's just that the movie was not that sad nor it should make you an emotional wreck.
Yes it is bittersweet but it is nowhere as depressing as people made it out to be.
