One of my favourite things about Grisaia is that I genuinely really liked all of the girls (except Yumiko) and just hanging around with them in the SOL sections.
And even Yumiko got better in her route, although she's still easily my least favourite.

Amane was my favourite girl and I definitely liked her backstory best as a story but I never felt as sorry for her as I did for Mitcher and Yumiko (who I liked least of the girls).
I think it's partly because I found them more relatable (especially Michiru's bit about wanting to suicide but not being able to do it), but also because their pasts were just constant sadness with no happy, whereas at least Sachi and Amane had been happy at some point.
