After catching up on the mangaka's other series (BLUE GIANT), I decided to check it out. Read the first few volumes and enjoyed the art. You could always force your resolution up so it fits the full res image on screen, like super sampling in games but for the entire screen. Then get something like greenshot that will auto save printscreens, then set up auto hotkey script or similar that when you press it asks for number of pages then loops print screen next page that many times, maybe with a random length sleep in there depending on how much they're monitoring the program to avoid ripping

Best I can think of would be using something thin like League Gothic in white, adding a black stroke, and manually painting out some of the edges on a layer above it, then group those together and add a patterned stroke.

When should you walk away from a project?
I've been working with a group for a few years now, but the editor/typesetter constantly screws up my translations. I'm not talking about changing the wording to make it sound better, fit the bubbles better, add memes, or anything sensible like that. I'm talking about stuff like I'll translate a line as something and they will change it to something completely different that doesn't fit the original Japanese anymore. Sometimes they change things so much it loses all sense of the original and becomes completely wrong.
I have tried telling them to fix these things a number of times, but they almost never do.
Is this the time to walk away from working on this project? I love the manga and I don't want to let fans of it down, but it's frustrating to see fuck up after fuck up.

Knew there was something I forgot about. If the anon doing it is still here, I wasn't able to get a good scan without messing up the magazine so all I could do was take a photo for now. It's not much, but it's all the way at the end of the series if you can't get anything better by the time you're up to that, maybe you'll be good enough at coloring to just use it as a reference or something.

Drop it and walk away. They will blame you and might stall the project but at least no one will be reading the bullshit they make up or blame the translator whenever someone calls them out on it. It also increases the chances of a more serious group picking it up later if they have no one to take your place. I've been there and that retarded editor did a good job and not making me want to work with a group ever again.
