Can we get an Aria thread going? Favorite episodes? Moments?
Just finished the show after two years and holy shit it feels so good.
Watched S1, didn't really like it because I zoomed through it in one week or so, then gave S2 a one episode per week max rule and I liked it a lot more (might also be because S2 was just a lot better than the others in general). For S3, I did one episode every 1-2 months and each one of them felt special. How did you guys watch it?

I enjoyed the HD quality and chance to see the characters once again. Although it kind of sucks that I have to wait 3 months for another episode.

Finished it in ~month. Also watched Origination before Natural cause I'm retarded.
It felt like I had more episodes after I "finished" Origination and the finale still had a huge impact on me even without the build up from Natural.

I'm watching Natural right now and I love it. I only just finished the treasure hunt episode so I still have much to go through.
I love every character but Akari and PUIN-YUU are probably my favorite.

The first episode then.
Watching the final episodes was one of the best times ever. I'd come home from dropping my little sister of at summer classes, at 9 or 10v in the morning, make breakfast, and then get comfy as hell watching on the big TV.
I wish I had another show like that but I already know nothing else I watch will compare to Origination. And even if it did, it won't be such a serendipitous surprise like Origination was.

Headless Ghost Lady episode from the Natural.
Much as I like seeing the idyllic beauty of Neo Venezia through Akari's eyes, I enjoyed seeing a fairly darker side to the city - especially one that draws on actual Venetian myth, such as the space between the columns on St. Mark's Square.
The sequence of her sailing through the night from the safety of the city to the isolated, unknown cemetery island of San Michele is really quite unnerving, but in a good way. Not just as a way of showing the two different sides of the city, but also as a way of showing that even though humanity has colonised and terraformed Mars, built fantastic cities on it... There are still so many unknowns, so many mysteries.

The snowball episode always sticks out in my mind, also the one when the city was flooded.
But honestly the episode where Alice becomes a Prima will always be my favorite.

Watched S1 at a slow place, and enjoyed it. S2, the novelty wore off for me. Put off of the show at episode 11 or so for like a year. Heard good things about Origination, so blazed through the remaining episodes and it was a chore. Watched like 3 episodes of Origination and it was more or less the same thin so I dropped it.
I love iyashikei, but dislike world-building (which seems to be the focus). The characters were pretty mediocre so I ended up really bored. I can understand the uniqueness of Aria, but i personally prefer more character-driven SoL.
I loved the episode in which Aika cut her hair though.

I watched all three seasons for the first time in the span of 2 weeks and regret nothing.
Liked the first episode and the more I watched the more I enjoyed it so on and on to the next episode I went.
Still watch the occasional episode every now and again and probably seen each episode at least 4 times now.

This, characters make or break a SoL for me. I'm in the middle of watching Natural now and it was quite meh. That said, some of the episodes were amazing, especially when there's some paranormal things involved. I really love the episode in Animation when Akari goes back in time.
Some anon said that character developments begin in Origination, though.
