How good of a job do you think David Pro has done adapting DiU so far compared with your initial reaction to the visual style and voice actor changes?
So far it's looking really promising, I was sold on the 2nd episode with those sweet-ass transitions, angles and how fluid the animation looked.
Then episode 3 and 4 came, and holy fuck the sound design is absolutely brilliant.
10/10 adaption so far, absolutely can't wait to see Highway Star

This is the confirmed episode listing so far, the unaired episode titles were available as prizes in the Stardust Shooters app.
Even if there's another Yukako episode, there's only Pearl Jam and RHCP left after that, which will only take up 3 episodes and end on 12 or 13, a standard cour length. Notice how the current OP only shows characters introduced in this cour (the dancing part, not the silhouettes). I think it's a safe bet that we'll get a new OP after RHCP ends that'll show Joseph, Rohan, Shigechi etc who are all introduced within the next cour. Since we're getting at least 39 episodes, that's 3 cours and 3 potential OPs with different characters. I imagine Crazy Noisy Bizarre Town will stay, but just the visuals will change. Or they use a different part of CNBT for each one, coincidentally the full version of CNBT is almost exactly 3 times longer than the snippet in the OP, but don't quote me on that.
I'd be willing to bet on this honestly, it seems pretty likely.
Oku's voice is too raspy, it needs to bee deeper and dopier, like Ed from EEnE. They also should've tried imitating the art shift in the manga, not like it took very long for all the designs to be finalized.

One one level, it means that the key to winning the fight is with a very roundabout and intuitive method, aka jump start with spin your injured horse and use that to achieve a powerful rotation.
But as for the overall message, I look at it as like as another way of saying "It's the journey, not the destination," but with a little bit different meaning. There is no shortcuts through life and maturity, it just takes time and effort. It's like saying "the long way is the only way." SBR is a story of growth. Johnny had to journey across America grow as a person and stop being such a little washed-up-celebrity shit.
This is actually something a lot of sad millennials should think on to help deal with their ennui. "-Mope mope- I'm in my mid-20s already and I haven't done anything with my life." There's no rushing it, you'll change when you're ready to. It takes time, there is no shortcut, the shortcut is actually a long detour through life.

I also think it shows the different mindsets that Johnny and Gyro had during the series. Johnny always played it safe and took the path more traveled, and ended up placing fairly well several times due to that mind set. Meanwhile Gyro, despite taking the fastest path possible, kept on placing poorly, or behind Johnny at some points in the race. He also got penalized once too because of his rash behavior.
Either way, it was probably one of the best lines in the series.

Most of them seemed very loyal and the ones that survived accepted their failure and didn't involve themselves further. Enya was killed via bud because she was too emotional about her son which ended up getting her captured, and she carried too much sensitive information to risk her spilling the beans. Kakyoin, Polnareff and Okuyasu's dad didn't join him out of admiration or fear and held no special loyalty towards him, hence why he needed a tight leash on them. Most of his servants didn't require that type of control.

Fugo wasn't removed for being too powerful. He was removed because Araki originally intended for him to be a traitor, but changed his mind and had no use for the character anymore. Also PHF wasn't even written by Araki.

Okuyasu's dad was also extremely replaceable, the reason why DIO buds his minions is due to them not being someone he can trust deeply. Someone like Pucci never got budded due to the fact DIO and Pucci have a mutual understanding of one another and DIO has grown to trust him, someone like Hol Horse definitely was budded just as a safety net. Hol Horse is a useful asset, Hol is a useful asset with a strong stand, in the case of Enya he never had to mind control her to follow his wishes. I think Hol is the same way, DIO prefers to use fear as a method of control when laying out orders and doesn't constantly rely on hypnotism outside of the few stand users with dignity. That's why you wern't able to tell Enya had a flesh bud until it killed her, she was loyal to DIO and didn't act under mind control but fear.

Jonathan had the least amount of time to shine, and is pretty much just a goodie two-shoes. I love him and I'd marry him but he's my least favorite.
As a protagonist of his own part? Sure, Jotaro's the worst, but as a character as a whole Jotaro in part 4 and 6 became MUCH more developed and complex, he's a better written character.

Jonathan isn't a bad character and being a boyscout is hardly a problem, in fact you can easily see a plenty of characters is liked for that kind of attitude, but he only appears in one part, which is not only short, but also pretty poorly written since Araki was young and not as experienced as he is now.
Jotaro appears in 2 arguably very well written parts as a supporting somewhat mentor-like character which is the perfect role for a character like him, and one so-and-so part which arguably suffers from him being the protagonist - while far from perfect, it's a better track record than Jonathan.
Anyone else enjoying Part 8 but confused about where it is going?
We are already pretty far into it and I still have no clue who the main villain is, what the wall eyes are doing, and no actual crew has formed yet.

Luckily low because it sounds terrible, stop forcing alternate versions of characters into roles of their counterparts from another universe. SBR delivered a great new villain and I hope so will Jojolion instead of just doing Kira-but-not-quite again, it'd be a huge letdown, just as if the actual big bad of SBR was alt Diego instead of Valentine.

To be fair SBR never had an actual crew either, you had Gyro+Johnny, HP, Wekapipo and in the end Diego each doing their own shit. I think we will see something akin to a crew proper in JJL soon though, I'd imagine Gappy, Yasuho, the kid, Kyo and maybe Joshuu and the Higashikata gals will start working more closely with each other after Damo goes down.
