Ohtaka at the start portrayed kid Sinbad's dream as noble and awe inspiring (which it was). As he grew slightly older and he was still spouting the same words without much direction to them (only gathering more and more power), I really liked how Ohtaka's calling him out on how empty it sounds via Serendine since most readers probably had the same feeling too.

They each have their own strengths. Like adventure and character interactions for Sinbad manga (since it actually has the time to show those things) and the main story and politics/power struggles/social commentary for Magi.
As much as I love Magi, a lot of character dynamics have to be filled in since its focus is on the big story. For example, I really wished Fish and Baba had more time showing how they became friends back when they were still in Sindria. I wish we got way more than their conversation after Fish lost to Sinbad.
SnB fills those things in like how Drakon and Sinbad became friends. The overall story for SnB is weak comparatively though and it's main draw is its connection to Magi - seeing how Sinbad falls and becomes the person you see in the main manga. We all know Barbarossa will fuck things up and Sinbad loses his kingdom so there's not much surprise when you can see a lot of things coming.

We already found out that he abandoned Kou Empire, after he ran it to the ground. He ran away.
The only reason why Hakuryuu stood a chance was because of the Seven Seas Alliance. The Alliance that Sinbad is the leader of, which Hakuryu came to Sindria to ask his assistance in his revenge. So yeah goes without saying Hakuryuu did whored out the world to Sinbad, in return for his revenge.
The whole reason why Arba was capable of taking over Hakuei, was because Hakuryuu killed Gyouken, ironically after Arba left her body. While everyone and their dog was distrusting of Gyouken people didn't have the same worry about Hakuei, so yeah he did fuck his own sister over, didn't actually take his revenge, and though Al Thamen either gone, or they're just working for Sinbad now.
None of this would have happened if he wasn't so focused on revenge.

Your last point is just rambling. He incapacitated the body of Al Thamen (for now, at least), but the head of the organisation is alive an well in the vessel that is his sister, who was the only real family he had left.

Because under Kouen, Kou would've ended up in a far shittier situation with it's war policies and because of Sinbad.
Sinbad gained Kou within his council willingly and yet we see how he treats it. Imagine the situation where he would've gained control after defeating it.

No one is speculating on the reason he ran away. That's what you're doing to try and justify your argument, but it is completely irrelevant. Regardless of the reason, he ran away from Kou, and that is the original point you were trying to dispute. But you can't dispute that, nothing in the manga contradicts it.

It literally wasn't though, Kou was one of the largest and most most prosperous empires before Hakuryuu decided to chase after his revenge. Sinbad only won the war by using Hakuryuu's short-sighted revenge against him. Hakuryuu provided Sinbad with the shortcut he needed to fuck up Kou.

Call me crazy, but I think that the fact that his sister's body is now gotten taken over by a being that wants to mess up the world, and he gave her the means of doing so, on top of putting her in a position where she can't be touched, and actually failing to achieve his revenge isn't a good thing.
