Like I said, its heavily implied and speculated by many that that is the choice Mutio made when she chose to not go with the MC in the end.
Verg may have changed his ways by the end of the series, but it doesn't change the fact that Mutio was his favorite. And Mutio was already a part of his harem and decided to stay, so shes not that against him either. They probably got married and she had many shark babies.
This is my personal speculation, but Verg had a harem of many ladies. If he decides to quit the harem and Mutio stays with him, that means Mutio has to take the place of 10s of fish girls. Her pussy is either pregnant or is broken a week after the MC leaves.
