Half way through the show, there is a subtle and jarring shift in tone. Story continues with something amiss, forcing the slice of life but failing at it.Girl A died over the holidays and Girl B has been taking her place and doing a bad job at it. Guy A is living in denial and soon cracks under the strain, causing him to kill himself. In a final bid to ensure Girl B does not completely loses it, Guy B assumes the place of his dead friend. Yandere shenanigans with a lot of facial surgeries.Story ends with Guy B and Girl B dressed up and disguised as Guy A and Girl A while heading toward their university.

They reach her shrine,only to find out that she is a futuristic AI who manipulated them since the start to stop an alien invasion on earth, and that they are in an abandoned planet since most of humanity already lives in other worlds and they are there solely through robots who simulate human bodies. While everyone was human but living in VR, MC was always an AI as well that their parents brain scans were assimilated.While everyone else is shocked by the discovery,MC wishes Lampade to wipe everyone memory of everything and return to their previous reality, which the computer accepts and does to everyone but the MC, which she asks if he could save her by taking all her hardware that's stuck on earth and send it through a space shuttle to another galaxy to avoid the death of the sun, he doesn't want to but is forced since she won't help him until he helps her.
incredibly stupid character with only advantage is that he have a lot of energy (ki, cosmo, chakra...whatever), fight and defeat better warriors, only training a couple of days or months. In the end he become king, boss, leader.
