Nahh AT fields have a breaking point, reason why energy weapons like the cannon can pierce it and people don't automatically turn to tang. IB will break but not complete its full effect despite Natural Barrier, if you mean Touma punching a core automatically turns an Angel to tang, that would be sick but doubt it happens, everything explodes.
