Everyone is done for but the village group. Take note that all of the final 6 are in the village except for Speedstar, who Lion says (depending how you translate it) he won't die. There's going to be a battle obviously, they're not going to have them make fortifications and weapons for the assness of it. In the poster they're also roughed up from some kind of struggle. They'll be fighting Youkai invaders with Zombie Yottsun and Giant Mitsumune leading the charge, and it'll take Koharun's knowledge to take them out, who of course never betrayed anyone. The only honey trapped people are Soooooooy Latte fans, since she is incredibly suspect. She had no reason for going on the trip and no reason to stay behind. She is probably a youkai herself, along with Nettaiya's stalker and all the illusion's people may have seen. Kitsunes and Obakes n' what not. There is even a river otter, Kawauso, "particularly skilled at shape-changing and accurately copying sounds." But we'll see I guess, I really want everyone to make it back.

That's just what they want you to think. Maimai's been getting built up solely to be served as the sacrificial lamb over a plate of good ol' Okada melodrama. Speedy signed his death warrant the moment he put himself in a situation where he'd have talking lines with a non-Mitsumune character.
If any of the irrelevant background characters survive, it's most likely to be the ones in the village that are doing nothing in particular and just passively getting by. The ones who went out of their way to escape/overcome their situation must die because that's how you escalate the circumstances.
That is, assuming there will actually continue to be character deaths.

There was a plan to make an original anime by Diomedia and director Mizushima and so I was asked to join.
>Since this is the first time you've worked with Mizushima, what was your first impression of him?
I've heard rumours from people that know him and when I met it was just like the rumours said, he was an interesting person that had his own tempo. However, in contrast to his gentle appearance and way of speaking, there's a bit of "dark Mizushima" in the things he says and that is interesting. I remember that when I said "Mizushima you're quite dark" he replied with "you beat me in this regard".
>Impressions as you worked on the project?
I have seen his previous works but there were a lot of things that I didn't understand how he did just by watching the works. When I watch anime I can't help but get into work mode and start imagining the scenario and the production process but for Mizushima's works "eh, I wonder how this was done" was a question that popped up in mind often. Working together on an anime had shown me his greatness.

First of all his scripts are long. The usual anime episode uses 200 words per page and around 75 pages, there are situations where that's too much and they get cut down, but Mizushima wants 100 pages. Mizushima wants to cram the lines and material in one episode even if they originally won't fit in just one episode. And when it's complete you won't feel that things are rushed.
