This isn't really what you should be thinking about when watching Monogatari. It's not about sex or love or somebody's awakening sexuality. You're supposed to look past all this and see patterns that hold the true metaphoric message of this novel. Whether Suruga is a lesbian or not is inconsequential to the philosophy at work here.

Before you ask me for guidance to unlock this hidden meaning (and I know you would have), I'll tell you this. Rewatch the series when you finish it in it's entirety or better still, read the actual books. Pay attention to names and references. Shaft did cheekily insert some clues into the visuals - look for anything that seems random or out of place - this is the shortcut to learn to notice really deep stuff later on. Many references are made on Sengoku Jidai, make sure you read up on it as well, and Japanese history in general.

Unrelated, but this is the only Monogatari thread going right now.

I hear that after Mayoi Hell happens Araragi and Kisshot technically have their connection severed because Araragi died, but they both agree to re-enstate said connection.

I'm wondering how they go about this? I mean do they have to use the method that they used in Kizu and have Vamp Araragi turn Kisshot into Shinobu again?
