Simple preservation for Ayame and her subjects? I know Ikoma wants to mass produced his guns for humanity, but given his current circumstances and loss of manufactory ability it'll be interesting to see what happens next.
I'm also quite keen to know what Mumei and her organisation wants.
Mumei's body is a cure. She needs to be delivered on kabaneri base, where she will be killed and antivirus extracted from her body. But Ikoma wont let this happen.

I think Ani-sama is going for the "perfect human race" ending, turning everyone into Kabaneri. The kabane and subsequent world falling into chaos is a result of the research failure.
Mumei is patient zero aka the first successful turning.
