I generally liked it and I did enjoy watching the show and reading the threads on /a/ when it aired.

I was expecting something entirely different.
The plot was poorly paced, the animation could have been better and overall, it didn't live up to the hype. The second last episode renewed my hype but that quickly dissipated in the finale. It was a fun ride to watch with /a/ and the music was fantastic though. It had a few moments here and there, also made even better with consideration to all the speculation and homages to other series.
I really wish it hadn't been hyped. Months of TRIGGER WILL SAVE ANIME threads ruined all KLK discussion before it even aired. It wasn't an amazing show, but it was fun, a solid 8/10, and it didn't deserve that.

TTGL had a plot? It was so straight forward it's hard to even recall what it was, like a shallow puddle. It was all GO CRAZY! and things will turn out fine. At least KLK actually has some real reasoning behind the actions the characters take. Neither show is particularly plot heavy, but the end of KLK has a much thicker plot than TTGL.
