It's one thing to have your main character be a complete asshole but she's an actual horrible person and all her friends are equally shitty people but they still get to be cute girls doing cute things at the end of the day.

Her background tales lot of fucked up shit and one of them, involves raping girls. We aren't talking about people that deserved it either. She stole, murdered, raped all the way to death row and was only pardoned because they needed someone fucked up to do their dirty work. If she dies or fucks up, only she goes down.
If you think about it, many government do this to their most dangerous psychopaths.

I like the fact that she's a comedic protagonist as well as an asshole psychopath.
I much prefer the balance of comedy and edge here than in trash for example.

I just finished the convent arc.
There's just something incredibly off for me about the whole thing that leaves a bad taste in my mouth.
If it was completely just her doing her own thing fighting other assholes and raping her way through life it would be one thing.
But then she constantly channels "pssh nothing personal kid" time and time again for no real reason considering her behavior the rest of the time and her little squad of shitty kids isn't doing it any favors.
They're just too much of a squad of assholes to give a shit about and she's the only one really bordering on endearing in her own fucked up way and the "she want the tiddies" aspect of her personality is boring at this point.
I don't know maybe it's me caring too much about how much of an asshole a character is proportional to what they get away with but I just don't think she works as a protagonist for this usually comedic series.
It's just jarring I guess? Doesn't flip between funny and "serious" well enough for me.

I think it was even worse that she killed the teacher AFTER she was helpless. She didn't really deserve that death since she did nothing to hurt the MC, or the glasses girl (she stole glasses girls bombs, but it wasn't personal, nor did she hate her) so killing her instead of arresting her was just pure bull crap.
Yes, I know she did it to manipulate glasses girl, but it still felt really out of place.
