Some WB exec recently leaked some information, that they are very proud of the 2014 movie. However even they agree with the criticism that it gave the audience "Godzilla blueballs".
Seeing as how the sequel will basically be a remake of Ghidorah, the threeheaded monster, with Mothra instead of Rodan, we're definitely getting more Kaiju fun.
No offense to the MUTOs but they're basically uninteresting scrubs, that solely exist for Godzilla to reintroduce himself to the world by beating their asses.
